MEMBERSHlPS ARE DUE APRIL 30TH OF EACH YEAR. After April 30th all applications will be assessed a $5.00 office fee. All non-members will be charged a fee of $20 at every MHJA rated show. Competitors who have been charged a non-member fee may submit an application with an additional $15 after the show, but the membership must be received within two weeks of the show date in order for those points to be awarded.
Membership cards (printed or electronic) must be presented to show managers to avoid the non-member fee. Membership will be considered complete when all applicable forms, nominated horse photos, and payment have been submitted.
*If checking Amateur, you must read and sign the Amateur Certification Form and include it with this membership application. If your status changes from Amateur to Professional within a membership year, you must notify MHJA in writing.*
HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: The completion of this membership form signifies the release of the Board of Directors and members of MHJA, Montana Hunter Jumper Association, as well as show management, officials and volunteers from any liability or responsibility for any injury or damage to any horse, rider, other individual or property, before, during and following any approved MHJA horse show. Riders and Owners acknowledge that they are participating at their own risk. Parents or guardians are giving permission for juniors to participate with.full knowledge of the risk inherent in equine competition.
